Last night, Nine Inch Nails closed out the night at Bonnaroo Music Festival. “It just dawned on me that this is our last show ever in the United States. Don’t be sad. I’ll keep going. But I think I’m going to lose my … mind if I keep doing this, and I have to stop,” reports the Associated Press. This is an interesting and somewhat unexpected development in music. Trent Reznor has been the glue behind Nine Inch Nails for the past twenty-something years. The music of the group has been innovative ever-changing throughout the band’s tenure. If you have the opportunity, check out NIN on their European tour, as it sounds like it may be your final chance. They put on an excellent show, full of outstanding production and energy. I hope that Reznor continues to create music, whether or not he chooses to tour again.
Cheers.
